This position plays a vital role in protecting the CCWD’s water quality and supply reliability by analyzing complex legislative trends, evaluating adaptive management strategies, and recommending strategic policies. This unique position offers the flexibility to share time between the Sacramento region area and Concord area. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Training and Experience: Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be: Training: Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in civil engineering, water resource planning, environmental planning, watershed, land, or natural resource management, environmental science, or a related field. Experience: Five (5) years of increasingly responsible project/program management experience in water resource planning and/or Bay-Delta watershed collaborative initiatives. Licenses and Certifications: Possession of a valid California driver’s license to be maintained throughout employment.
