Education and Experience Education This position requires a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in civil, chemical, environmental, or mechanical engineering, chemistry, biology, or a related field from an accredited college or university. A master’s degree in these areas or business/public administration is desirable. Experience Requires ten years of progressively more responsible experience in facility operations, maintenance, and/or engineering, including five years of supervisory experience (at a public agency is desirable) or three years of management experience.
