This event kicks off with a welcome reception at Herzog Wine Cellars on the evening prior offering a relaxed setting to network with fellow attendees and water professionals before the full-day program begins. The following day features a comprehensive tour program, including: ✓ Guided facility tours of the El Rio Groundwater Recharge and Water Treatment Facility, the Freeman Diversion, and Santa Felicia Dam, including the Iron & Manganese Treatment Plant and hydroelectric power operations. ✓ In-depth look at infrastructure resilience, including seismic upgrades, fish passage improvements, and spillway enhancements that safeguard public safety and water reliability. ✓ Insights into regional water challenges such as seawater intrusion, drought resilience, sustainable aquifer management, and the integration of surface water and groundwater supplies. ✓ Connections with water professionals and experts who are shaping the future of water in the region and beyond.
