Weymouth Treatment Plant. The F.E. Weymouth Treatment Plant is the first treatment plant built by Metropolitan. Today, it treats water from the Colorado River and the State Water Project. Weymouth has a treatment capacity of 520 million gallons a day, the equivalent of filling the Rose Bowl every four hours. The tour will include an overview of the treatment plant, ozone facilities, solar, machine shops and water quality lab as well as an update on ACWA activities. Preliminary agenda HERE. Tour participants will need to provide the same identification prior to entering the plant. Anyone failing to present proper identification, will not be allowed to participate on the tour. Online Registration Deadline: September 26, 2018 or until space is full. Space is limited to the first 50 registrants. Cancellations Deadline: September 26, 2018, 5 p.m. (PST) to receive reimbursement. Cancellation must be in writing. Substitutions can be made by requesting it in writing by September 26, 2018. Event details are subject to change and registrants will be notified by e-mail if changes occur. Proper Attire: All participants must wear closed toe shoes and pants and be able to walk without assistance and climb stairs.
