With California’s multiyear drought deepening and key policy decisions unfolding, 2015 brought a number of game-changing challenges for ACWA and local water agencies.

Throughout the year, ACWA and its members engaged in numerous arenas to advance solutions and provide a statewide voice on water. From the first-ever emergency regulation on urban conservation to implementation of landmark groundwater sustainability legislation to the massive expansion of the Save Our Water program, ACWA and its members provided leadership and perspective to help shape outcomes.

ACWA’s impact kept pace with rapidly changing events and reflected the strong direction of the ACWA Board of Directors and the commitment and expertise of ACWA region boards, committees, task forces, and working groups.
