2016 Year in Review Dec 31, 2016 Publications ACWA and its members brought new meaning to the phrase “Bringing Water Together” in 2016. Guided by the 2016-’17 Strategic and Business Plan adopted by the Board of Directors, ACWA took every opportunity to work for comprehensive solutions to the state’s intertwined water issues in 2016. Whether it was advocating for workable conservation policies at the State Water Resources Control Board or engaging on federal legislation like the Water Infrastructure Improvements for the Nation (WIIN) Act, ACWA worked diligently to represent members’ interests and preserve local authority.
