WEBINAR: Drought Messaging

As California heads into the warmer months of its second consecutive dry year, local water suppliers are sharing information with customers about local investments in drought resiliency while promoting long-term water efficiency and, in some cases, communicating about mandatory conservation. Agencies know that water supplies can vary significantly throughout the state, making communications complicated.

On June 30, 2021 ACWA held a live webinar on drought messaging featuring Tia Fleming (Lebherz) with California Water Efficiency Partnership and Mike Wade with California Farm Water Coalition. Mike and Tia shared lessons learned from the last drought and how urban and agricultural agencies can best communicate drought messaging.
