Ensuring the safety of drinking water supplies by complying with all relevant state and federal standards is the highest priority of these agencies. ACWA supports the State Water Board’s decision to seek input from interested stakeholders on the preparation of a draft program EIR and hopes this effort results in a comprehensive evaluation of the potential impacts of complying with a new Hexavalent Chromium MCL.
