Comment Letter: Microplastics Dec 21, 2021 Comment Letters Agency: State Water Resources Control Board Subject: ACWA and CWA Comment Letter – Microplastics in Drinking Water Methods and Plan Letter excerpt: The Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA) and California Water Association (CWA) appreciate the opportunity to submit written comments to the State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) regarding the Draft Microplastics in Drinking Water Policy Handbook (Policy). ACWA and CWA’s members will be responsible for complying with the Final Policy, including the monitoring orders, testing and reporting to the State Water Board. The State Water Board has invested significant resources and staff time into meeting the requirements of Health and Safety Code (HSC) Section 116376 (SB 1422).
