The Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA) respectfully submits the following requests to the Department of Water Resources (DWR) regarding its current efforts on Landscape Area Measurement (LAM). ACWA represents over 450 public water agencies that deliver approximately 90 percent of the water used for residential, commercial and agricultural purposes in California. ACWA supports efficient water management in California and is working with water agency members across the state on the implementation of the Conservation as a Way of Life legislation.
