ACWA Bylaws and Board Policies Bylaws and Policies ACWA Bylaws (PDF): At the General Session Membership Meeting on November 29, 2017, members voted to amend the association’s bylaws. The amendments addressed ongoing efforts to ensure the bylaws are current and reflect consistency with other governance documents and daily operations. The amendments set forth changes to Article 7, Standing Committees, including the creation of an Agriculture Committee, and Article 9, Meetings of Members, pertaining to the deadline requirement for submitting requests for amendments to the bylaws. Code of Conduct (PDF): ACWA’s Board of Directors is committed to ensuring that its members carry out their duties with integrity and respect; and honorably represent its agency members and the public they serve. The following code of conduct establishes ethical standards for Board members’ performance of the duties of office. Adopted by the Board of Directors on Nov. 22, 2013, as required pursuant to Article 4, Section 11 of the Bylaws of the Association of California Water Agencies, as amended May 9, 2012. Revised by the Board of Directors on July 31, 2015.
