EPA Releases Lead Service Line Inventory Guidance by ACWA staff Aug 4, 2022 Water News WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) today released its guidance on lead service line inventories pertaining to the Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR). The guidance is meant to help water systems comply with the LCRR’s service line inventory requirements by Oct. 16, 2024. The guidance includes: Best practices for inventory development and communicating information to the public Templates for water systems, states and tribes to use or adapt to create their own inventory Case studies on developing, reviewing, and communicating about inventories EPA will host a webinar summarizing the guidance and highlighting federal funding that’s available.
