State Water Board to Hold Webinar on Curtailment and Reporting Orders by ACWA Staff Aug 25, 2021 Water News The State Water Resources Control Board will conduct an informational webinar on Aug. 31 to provide an overview of the recent curtailment and reporting orders issued in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Bay-Delta watershed. It will include guidance to diverters who are responsible for curtailing diversions, submitting certifications, and/or other reporting pursuant to curtailment and reporting orders. The webinar will be split into the following two sessions: Session one on Aug. 31, 9 a.m. – noon, will provide an overview of the curtailment and certification of compliance; and Session two on Aug. 31, 1 – 4 p.m., will provide information on the enhanced reporting requirements. The State Water Board issued curtailment orders on Aug. 20 to approximately 4,500 right holders in the the Bay-Delta. These orders follow the emergency curtailment regulation adopted by the State Water Board on Aug. 3 in response to drought conditions and acute water shortages.
