Planning to Attend Committee Meetings at Conference?

Committee meetings will be held on Tuesday, May 13. While committee meetings are complimentary, you must RSVP during the conference registration process to secure your spot — even if you are not attending conference.

When and where will ACWA’s 2025 Spring Conference & Expo be?

The 2025 ACWA Spring Conference & Expo will take place in Monterey, CA. from May 13 – 15, 2025 at the Monterey Conference Center and Surrounding Hotels. 

Does ACWA offer a hotel block?

ACWA secures a courtesy hotel block to offer registered conference attendees hotel rooms at a discounted group rate. For the 2025 Spring Conference & Expo, ACWA negotiated with the Portola Hotel & Spa, Monterey Marriott and Hotel Pacific for the largest hotel room block possible.

Conference registration is required to obtain hotel reservation information.

Are there other hotels that are close to the Monterey Conference Center?

Absolutely! We’ve also provided a list of nearby hotels HERE for your reference. (No ACWA group rate is available at these other properties.)

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellation deadline is April 25, 2025 at 4:30 pm (PT).

All registration changes and cancellations must be made in writing by the event registration deadline. Valid cancellation requests will receive a refund of any registration fees paid minus a $75 processing charge. For payments originally made by credit card, refunds can be issued back onto the credit card within 60 days. Otherwise, a refund will be issued by check. No refunds or registration changes will be granted after the registration deadline. Submit request in writing to Teresa Taylor at TeresaT@acwa.com.

Why can’t I purchase a conference registration without meals?

Registration has been restructured to an all-inclusive experience. A full conference registration includes access to all keynote addresses and conference programs, networking meal functions, snack stations, the Exhibit Hall, ACWA-hosted receptions and access to designated on-demand conference recordings.

Will I still need meal tickets?

Because of the all-inclusive pricing, anyone with a registration badge will be able to participate in all ACWA meal functions and snack stations. No separate meal tickets are necessary.

FRAUDULENT HOUSING and ATTENDEE LIST ALERT

Please be advised that potential fraudulent entities are contacting ACWA members, affiliates, and exhibitors implying that they have been contracted by ACWA to handle all attendee and exhibitor housing. ACWA has NOT contracted with any housing company and any information provided to them may be used for fraudulent purposes. Please only book your hotel through the ACWA reservation link provided in your registration confirmation.

What is the updated health and safety information?

ACWA and Monterey County are committed to the health and safety of our members, guests, employees, and community. 

Health & Safety Information

  1. In accordance with Monterey County and the California Department of Public Health, proof of vaccination or negative COVID test are not required for ‘mega-events’.  ACWA’s 2025 Spring Conference & Expo is considered a ‘Mega Event’ under California Department of Health guidelines.  ACWA is expecting over 1000 attendees indoors.
  2. Attendees are not required to wear masks indoors or outdoors.  Attendees are encouraged to determine their own personal level of comfort.
  3. Social distancing is not required though health & safety will continue to guide ACWA’s planning objectives.

How do I register for the ACWA JPIA Membership Summit?
