You’re Invited! California Water Plan 2023 Update Plenary, Scheduled Oct. 3–4

California water professionals, policy experts, thought leaders, and the public are invited to join us at the California Water Plan Update 2023 (Update 2023) Plenary meeting in Roseville, CA, Oct. 3–4. This two-day meeting is an opportunity for all Californians to learn about the Public Review Draft of Update 2023, and to provide feedback and input that will help inform the final 2023 Update.

Importance of Attending

California updates its Water Plan every five years. Since the last update in 2018, climate change has brought record-setting conditions in California, including historic droughts, devastating wildfires, extreme heat, extraordinary precipitation, and flooding.

The California Water Plan Update Plenary will be the only large-scale public meeting where people can come together to learn about Update 2023, ask questions, get clarification, and provide input for the final draft process. Although it will be live-streamed, attending in person will be a more dynamic experience for participants to talk with experts, interact with presenters and engage with colleagues from throughout California. The two-day event will feature several networking sessions and time to connect with experts, colleagues, and make new contacts.

Registration

Early bird registration ends on Monday, Sept. 25. Register online.

In-person tickets are $50 today but will increase to $100 after Sept. 25. You can also register on-site, at the event for $100.

In-person attendees who register before Sept. 25 can pre-order lunch for both days. We will do our best to accommodate lunch preferences for registration after Sept. 25.  Meals are not guaranteed for day-of registrants. Gluten free and plant-based options will be available.

There is no cost to attend virtually.
