Together we will explore technical, socioeconomic, regulatory, and policy considerations to advance implementation of projects that use floodwaters for managed aquifer recharge (Flood-MAR). Since the last Flood-MAR Forum in 2021, we experienced a historically wet winter and saw Flood-MAR implementation expand in real-time. This Forum aims to share success stories and lessons learned from the landmark wet winter of 2022-2023 and help the Flood-MAR community better prepare for the next wet winter to further advance Flood-MAR implementation for the benefit of communities, ecosystems, and agriculture. Anyone interested in learning about Flood-MAR and expanding Flood-MAR project implementation throughout California is encouraged to attend.
