ACWA represents over 460 local public water agencies that supply water for domestic, agricultural, and industrial uses to over 90% of California’s population. CWA represents water agencies that provide drinking water to just over 15 percent of the State and are subject to the jurisdiction of the California Public Utilities Commission.
