March 18 Deadline for Wildfire Resiliency and Recovery Grants by Caroline Minasian Feb 26, 2020 Water News Proposition 84 Wildfire Resiliency and Recovery Planning Grants are eligible to local and regional governments (cities and counties) that were affected by wildfires between 2017-2019. There is a total of $720,000 available for up to 3-5 grants between $150,000 to $250,000 each. The California Strategic Growth Council, Governor’s Office of Planning and Research, and the California Department of Conservation are opening the applications to help California communities affected by wildfire recovery and planning. These state agencies are looking to invest in innovative planning approaches that can serve as models for increasing resilience throughout the entire state.
