Join ACWA in Supporting SB 72 at Sept 8 Press Event by ACWA Staff Aug 29, 2025 Water News As we approach the home stretch of the legislative session, State Sen. Anna Caballero (D-Merced) and CA Water for All will be holding a press conference to promote SB 72. ACWA leadership plans to attend to represent our membership, and member agencies are also invited to attend to demonstrate the water community’s widespread support for the bill. SB 72, aimed at securing a long-term and reliable water supply for California, would transform California water management using water supply targets to ensure we have enough water for communities, agriculture, and the environment. ACWA is a supporter of SB 72.
