ACWA Further Enhancing Value of Conference Experience

ACWA conferences have always been the premier destination for water industry professionals to learn and connect, and now we are enhancing the conference experience with new features and more networking opportunities. This includes an exciting all-inclusive format that provides more accessibility, flexibility and networking.

All meals will now be program-free opportunities to network with your peers, providing a more flexible schedule and more food options. We’ll also shine a brighter spotlight on our keynote speakers by featuring them on the conference’s Main Stage that is accessible to all attendees.

Meanwhile, registration has also been restructured to an all-inclusive experience, including access to all keynote addresses and programs, networking meal functions, the Exhibit Hall, snack stations, ACWA-hosted receptions and designated recorded sessions.

At the same time, we’ll continue embracing technology in ways that enhance the conference experience with a user-friendly mobile app that helps attendees navigate the event and connect with others. We’ll also continue recording designated conference programs, giving attendees opportunities to benefit from more programs than they can attend.

I believe our new format creates more opportunities for meaningful connections within the water industry. With dedicated networking meals and receptions, you’ll have ample opportunities to connect with other attendees and build valuable relationships. Matching the value of networking, our conference will include new program formats to deliver the latest policy developments, trends and best practices in the water industry.

For example, introduced in 2022, conference Round Table Discussions have become an overwhelmingly popular feature with lively discussions and interactions among attendees. And new to this conference, we’ll host 30-minute Sharing Spotlights, featuring case-study presentations, product demonstrations and other examples of how others in the industry are addressing today’s challenges. Another new feature to look forward to will be a “Water Talk” discussion showcasing a featured speaker followed by a question-and-answer session.

All these new features are based on attendee feedback and suggestions, as well as the latest trends in the conference industry. We heard you, and your feedback will continue to shape future conference formats and help us deliver an exceptional experience year after year.

Above all, we strive to maintain ACWA conferences as exclusive opportunities to highlight the latest policy developments, trends and best practices in the water industry. We are always looking for renowned thought leaders and experts to share their insights, providing you with valuable knowledge and inspiration to propel your professional growth.

While we’re changing and improving some aspects, many foundational elements will remain in place. Industry professionals can still earn valuable continuing education credits for legal, energy, financial, drinking water and communications credentials. And Tuesday’s committee meetings and Wednesday’s region meetings will still offer opportunities to increase your engagement with ACWA and hear valuable information that you can take back to your agency.

Mark your calendars and register now for the 2023 ACWA Fall Conference & Expo Nov. 28-30 in Indian Wells and be a part of the next chapter in our association’s journey. Keep an eye out for more details on www.acwa.com/events. This is an event you won’t want to miss! .
