Mesa Water offers a collaborative, dynamic, and exciting work environment while supporting the Public and External Affairs Departments. The successful candidate will perform a broad range of administrative functions and assignments in supporting an active team across community events, media relations, social media, government relations and education that require independent judgment and initiative. The ideal candidate will be highly organized; proactive and experienced in public affairs including communicating with media and elected officials; coordinating special events and projects; researching and responding to internal and external customer requests; composing correspondence; proofreading/editing documents and presentations; coordinating travel plans; scheduling and coordinating meetings/conference rooms; preparing briefings for meetings; distributing information and materials; and provide general support on various office projects.

SALARY:

$4,649-$6,409/monthly (Non-Exempt)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Training:

Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by vocational/technical training in office practices.

Experience:

Three years of increasingly responsible clerical, secretarial, and routine administrative support experience.

License or Certificate:

Some position’s may require possession of a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
