Simply writing you have one on your application will not allow it to be considered fully.

If the CCSD application is incomplete and proof of required qualifications are not included, applicants will be disqualified.

The Cambria Community Services District, located on the beautiful central coast of California approximately five miles south of Hearst Castle and 15 miles north of Morro Bay, seeks qualified and highly motivated individuals with a strong work ethic. We are recruiting for one full-time position to fill the position of Wastewater Operator in Training (OIT), Wastewater Operator Grade I, or Wastewater Operator Grade II.

The Cambria Community Services District serves a population of approximately 6500 and Cambria is considered one of the most desirable places to live in California. The District shall provide the PERS 2% @ 60 retirement plan for covered employees who are “classic” members hired on or after October 1, 2012, including the 36 highest consecutive months’ final compensation, and the employees shall pay one hundred percent (100%) of the employee paid member contribution, through a payroll deduction. As defined under the Public Employee Pension Reform Act (PEPRA), miscellaneous “non-classic” employees (aka new members) hired after January 1, 2013 shall be covered under the CalPERS 2% at 62 retirement benefit, including the 36 highest consecutive months’ final compensation, and the employees shall pay one hundred percent (100%) of the employee paid member contribution, through a payroll deduction. Eligibility for other benefits provided to “non-classic employees” under this MOU through CalPERS (as stated above) shall be determined by the provisions of PEPRA for “non-classic employees” aka new members.

Wastewater Operator-In-Training (OIT) Salary Range $4,081 – $4,961, per month
Wastewater Operator Grade I Salary Range $4,290 – $5,215, per month
Wastewater Operator Grade II Salary Range $4,836 – $5,878, per month
