North Coast County Water District Board of Directors Reorganizes by North Coast County Water District Feb 6, 2023 Member Submitted News One of the North Coast County Water District’s longest-serving board members has retired from the board after 28 years of service to Pacifica. Thomas Piccolotti was first elected to the Board of Directors in 1994, and was reelected for six subsequent terms, serving continually until 2022. He was involved in countless District projects and served on several committees throughout his years on the Board of Directors. During the December 2022 Board of Directors meeting, board members took turns expressing their gratitude towards former President Piccolotti, thanking him for his knowledge and dedication to the Board. As Piccolotti, the City Manager of Daly City, reflected on his years of service, he thanked the public and the Board for allowing him the opportunity to serve the District for 28 years. While he leaves the NCCWD Board of Directors, he will still remain the District’s representative on the Bay Area Water Supply and Conservation Agency (BAWSCA) Board of Directors, a regional agency that represents the interests of 24 cities and water districts and two private utilities that purchase water on a wholesale basis from the San Francisco Regional Water System. In the same meeting, returning board members, Anne De Jarnatt and Ron Ash, and new Director William Hauser, were sworn in by former President Piccolotti. The ceremony was followed by a brief recess as colleagues and members of the public gave well wishes and congratulations. After reconvening, the District Board elected Director Jack Burgett to serve as Board President and Director Joshua Cosgrove to serve as Vice-President. Board of Directors meetings are held the third Wednesday of every month at 7:00pm at the District Office at 2400 Francisco Boulevard in Pacifica.
