Event participants will round out their first day with a networking reception at the final tour stop for the day. After seeing and experiencing the Ag/water nexus in the valley, attendees will then shift their focus to the “path of water” as it moves in a westerly direction. Starting at the State Water Project, participants will follow the water as it makes its way through the various conveyance and treatment facilities in the valley. Lunch and ACWA updates will take place at the largest treatment facility in the valley as it is the last stop of the water before continuing into the East Bay to serve millions of California’s residential and commercial entities. All registered attendees and preliminary materials will be updated immediately in the event of a change. *All registered attendees MUST wear close toed shoes.
