ACWA Releases Water Resilience Package Funding Sheet by ACWA Staff Dec 15, 2021 Water News ACWA has developed a tracking sheet to help inform member agencies about state funding allocations. Gov. Gavin Newsom’s Administration in May unveiled a four-year $5.16 billion package to bolster the state’s drought response and water resilience, including investments in conveyance, sustainable groundwater management, safe drinking water, recycled water and other infrastructure projects. The final 2021-’22 state budget included $3.58 billion of the Water Resilience Package funding. ACWA is tracking the allocation of funding and will continuously update the tracking sheet that is available to ACWA members online. The tracking sheet includes information on the 2021-’22 allocations for drinking water, water supply and reliability and flood, immediate drought support and nature based solutions.
