Subject: Public Health Goals for perfluorooctanoic acid and perfluorooctane sulfonate

Description: ACWA provided public comment to the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) regarding the development of Public Health Goals for two prominent per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). ACWA notes that public health goals should be established based on sound, credible and peer-reviewed science and provides considerations on what studies OEHHA should rely on.
